Credere Academy, a subsidiary of SJEN, provides online Catholic education at little to no cost. Since Credere Academy is part of SJEN, whose origin can be traced back for more than 30 years, you can be sure that Credere Academy will continue in Catholic education for years to come!
Credere Academy is of service to the Church, presenting the Catholic standpoint and Church history to an audience largely unaware of the true teachings of the Catholic faith, inspiring many to return to the practice of their faith, and fostering others to embrace Catholicism through conversion.
We believe that online education is the most efficient and economical method of learning. It can be accessed on almost any device anywhere that you have an Internet connection. You can learn at your own pace and watch the lesson videos as many times as you like, and never have to worry about losing a CD, DVD, or textbook. Credere Academy is perfect for everyone because it can fit into all schedules and budgets!
Credere Academy works closely with the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Orange County in California, Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, and many more in developing new courses. New courses are made available as soon as the material is ready to use.
All Credere Academy course offerings are faithful to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. Course curriculum for each of our courses strictly adheres to the teachings of the Catholic faith.
Courses are offered as self-paced learning programs. That means you can learn at any time from anywhere, whether you are traveling or at home. The convenience offered by self-paced learning makes it possible for you to complete your course within a time frame determined by you.
All courses are presented in small video segments. Many of them are offered at no charge due to annual sponsorship from various organizations, presenters, and personal sponsors. Non-sponsored courses are modestly priced, starting as low as $15.00 per course. To view a full list of our courses, click here.
Credere Academy is operated by a group of volunteers that are dedicated to evangelizing their Catholic faith. The proceeds from tuition sponsorship, fees, and donations are used to help defray operating costs of the academy.
